Set on over 800 square meters, The Whitehouse is a cool, spacious, private holiday home - perfect for a far north Queensland escape.
This four bedroom house is surrounded by a secure, high fenced landscaped garden with traditional far north Queensland flora including gingers, yuccas, coconut palms and pineapples. Sunbake in the front yard, cool off, by taking a dip in the saltwater pool out the back and then dry off on one of the sun lounges.
Inside, The Whitehouse is decorated in pale colours, true to its name, with coastal motifs. It is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans throughout; the open central area off the entry provides for communal gatherings, however, the sleeping quarters are quite private.
The large, well appointed Miele kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, even on holidays or let the four-burner BBQ do all the hard work. Glasses, crockery, cutlery, cookware, bakeware and picnic-ware are in abundance at The Whitehouse.
The in-house entertainment consists of a large 46" wall hung LCD digital TV, DVD player with lots of movies (just in-case the rain sets in). There is also a good selection of board-games, novels, playing cards and cookbooks. Dance to your own tunes by hooking up to the i-pod docking station or listen to the local stations.
The Whitehouse represents great value for money, sleeping eight, across four bedrooms. Each room has crisp white linen, fluffy bath and beach towels, built in wardrobes, large windows with roller blinds and flyscreens, bedside tables and reading lamps. The Whitehouse is suitable for two families, a large extended family, or smaller groups.
Staying for longer periods is made easy with the inside laundry, consisting of washing machine, clothes drying rack, ironing board and iron.
There are two and a half bathrooms and an outdoor shower to wash the salt and sand off. The house has off-street parking and is close to two family friendly parks.
